Cardi B has suddenly deleted her Twitter account after getting into a sticky situation with her fans who called the celeb out for missing this year’s Grammy Awards.
The shocking incident took place on Sunday after a heated war of words began as so many disgruntled fans were upset that she had chosen not to attend this year’s Grammy Awards.
But the social media feud ended on a low as the singer called out one fan so badly that she even wished her mother died.
“I bet your son would certainly not like to see you on your a**”- mentioned the annoyed singer.
But Cardi B did not stop there. She continued to mention her fans in her comments, referring to them as slow dumba** who dragged her family in the war of words, just because she chose to skip the 64th Annual Grammy Awards that were held last night in Las Vegas.
Right before she deactivated her account, Cardi Be mentioned that she was going to do it because her fanbase was just stupid and she just couldn’t take it anymore. “You all are crazy and I need to protect myself”- she continued.
Sources revealed that even if the celeb opted to show up to this year’s Grammy Awards, she would certainly have lost against big names in the industry that including Baby Keem who reportedly won the award for the famous song “Family Ties”.
Despite the huge fiasco, the incident didn’t see her fanbase following down drastically. Till today, the performer has 198 million followers on her social media accounts including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, SoundCloud, and TikTok.
But this is certainly not the first time that the star has deactivated her account. She was seen doing the same last year in March and also in October of 2020.
The celeb is also known for attending award shows, whenever she has some new single to perform. For now, it’s going to be interesting to see if and when the star actually makes a comeback on the platform again.
