In what is being described as a shocking event, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reportedly arrived in Ukraine.
According to local media reports, the visit was a complete surprise to so many people as it was unplanned and unscheduled.
Now, a recent picture was shared by Ukraine’s higher officials that clearly shows Boris Johnson and Ukraine’s President Zelensky sitting at a table and exchanging smiles with one another.
Local media reports spoke about how the visit was not revealed publicly and very few people knew, which is very unlike other meetings of the Prime Minister.
The only way people knew was through the image that is said to have been released during the afternoon hours of Saturday.
The image was first shared by the Embassy of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, who captioned the image by simply writing, “Surprise’ and also added a winking face emoji too.
Meanwhile, last month there were some reports being generated in the rumor mill about how the British Prime Minister was trying to figure out a strategic package of both military and financial aid that would assist Ukraine in the ongoing conflict with Russia.
Moreover, it was also reported how the British Prime Minister had reportedly asked intelligence sources to figure out whether or not a trip would be made possible to the war-torn nation where attacks and hostility in the form of military strikes don’t seem to be ending anytime soon.
The Prime Minister did seem keen on meeting Zelensky and that’s exactly why he requested his officials to assess the value and practicality of such a trip. And now, it appears that the visit has finally come into play.
The news is said to come at a time when Putin’s forces have reportedly been pulled out of the capital city of Kyiv and deployed in the country’s eastern region.
Sources claim the prime minister’s visit is the first of a leader belonging to the G7 countries, ever since the war broke out.
