One American Airlines passenger is making headlines for all the wrong reasons after she was recently pictured with her mouth sealed shut and her body duct-taped to her seat.

According to local media reports, the passenger was caught making a dangerous attempt of opening the plane’s door mid-flight.

The flight was traveling from Dallas to Charlotte and while the incident took place last year during the summertime, the case has finally come to an end.

According to local media reports, the woman made headlines after she tried to intentionally fall in into the aisle and then threatened one of the airlines’ staff members with violence.

Then, she made her way towards the cabin door and tried to open it.

After facing great resistance from the crew members aboard the flight, she started to violently hit them over their heads while kicking them several times as well.

“She headbutted them and even spat on them. The behavior was appalling as it was coming from a growing and sane looking woman”-one of the angry witnesses aboard the flight described.

As her punishment, the passenger has received the biggest fine in the history, as of yet, which comprised $82,000.

The country’s Transportation Secretary was seen mentioning how the passenger behaved in a shocking and offensive manner that took so many people by surprise and for that reason, they were left with no choice but to duct-tape her and shut her mouth because she just didn’t seem to want to stop with her jaw-dropping crimes.

The Transportation Secretary was also seen issuing a warning to other passengers against behaving as jerks aboard flights, adding how this type of behavior would no longer be acceptable.
