Ric Flair is putting out his thoughts on the Chris Rock-Will Smith slap and he strongly believes the entire controversy was staged, to begin with.
“I always thought it was fake and staged for the Oscars and still have a strong feeling that it was”- he continued in a bold tone.
A man coming from the world of pro-wrestling may have some words of wisdom on the slap but his comments are starting off another controversy, experts believe.
Flair spoke his mind when he appeared with his long-time pal Mike Tyson for a recent interview. And as you can probably imagine, the hot topic of the day had to do with the good old Oscars and the controversy surrounding the infamous slap that shook the world.
“I believe it was all scripted. That is just my opinion”- he continued.
The duo covered an array of distinct topics while on the show and it’s safe to say that they had plenty on their minds. This includes Flair’s daughter’s success in the WWE world, not to mention the duo’s newly started cannabis business too.
Just recently, Flair was dubbed as the world’s greatest wrestler by his fellow friend and colleague Hulk Hogan.
Soon. Mike Tyson could be heard jumping into the conversation too, after all, his opinion carried weightage too.
To that, Tyson said that if Flair considers it scripted and fake then it must be!
But in Will Smith’s defense, he did shed light on what he would have done if someone made fun of his wife or stated a comment that she found offensive.
“I would not slap then, I would just get up and down right punch them in the face”- he continued.
