Queen Elizabeth has narrowly escaped a major head-on collision outside Sandringham.
According to local media reports, the Queen happened to be in the passenger seat when all of a sudden, her Black Range Rover is said to have been forced to swerve off the road to prevent a major car crash.
Sources claim the Queen’s driver deserves plenty of credit as the vehicle was very lucky to not slam into the incoming traffic and instead, be diverted off the road.
“The Queen’s vehicle pulled out of the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. And that’s when it is believed to have almost collided with another white-colored vehicle. It is presumed that the vehicle was a Nissan Juke”- mentioned one Royal expert closely following the shocking news.
As the Queen’s vehicle slammed into the grass, the white-colored vehicle was forced to quickly pull the brakes and stop, as recently revealed by The Express.
One witness claims the Queen is very lucky because, by the looks of it, that could have been a major disaster but was thankfully averted.
“Cars tend to travel faster than the speed that the while vehicle was traveling and if that was the case, it would have been a complete disaster”- the witness continued.
“That Range Rover should have actually stopped at that particular junction so that the car could pass by easily. We tend to see traffic at an overwhelming pace so again, the Queen was very lucky”- he continued to explain.
The incident is said to have taken place during the Queen’s 96th birthday celebrations. She is reported to be staying at the Wood Farm Cottage in Sandringham and that is also the same place where Prince Philip had returned after he got retired from his public service.
As it is, the Queen is said to have been through a lot of struggles in regard to her health. This is also one of the reasons she didn’t attend the traditional Easter Service, citing mobility issues.
