As the million-dollar defamation trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continues, today brought forward a very unique finding in the courtroom.
Actor Johnny Depp seemed to know how to keep himself entertained and that’s when the celeb picked up markers, and coloring pencils, and started to sketch inside the courtroom.
The celeb drew up a pretty good sketch and even showed his lawyer, who had no choice but to begin laughing at this client’s artistic skills during such a high-profile trial.
As far as the context of the painting is concerned, it was a very intricate portrait that was made using Post-It notes.
The 58-year-old actor was caught by the lens of the camera that focused on Depp’s impromptu activity, something that many may not have known about.
Depp seemed to be in a very sarcastic mood because the way he presented it to his attorney was clear of one thing. He was in a different zone than what he appeared to be in while testifying on the witness stand recently.
This was done on day 9 of the trial and it’s quite clear that so many people are on ‘team johnny’ because after the video was posted on social media, it became viral, garnering nearly 4 million views in less than 18 hours! How’s that for a viral sensation?
Well, it’s quite clear that nine days of dishing your dirty laundry in the eyes of the public are not easy and that’s why many people believe Johnny Depp is trying to add an element of fun and laughter for those watching at home while easing the tension in the courtroom too.
