Johnny Depp was spotted smiling at his fans as he stepped outside the courtroom on Friday as his defamation trial came to a close.
Johnny Depp’s and Amber Heard’s legal teams presented closing arguments in regards to the case as the jury now begin to deliberate and reach a verdict on the defamation trial that has been more than explosive and dramatic.
The 58-year-old actor who has gained immense fame for playing Captain Jack Sparrow was seen in great spirits as he left the courtroom. Fans cheered his name and he responded with great gestures and smiles while standing outside. And that’s when the actor shook hands with officers while heading out.
But the case may have come to a close but that doesn’t mean the speculations stop. One defamation expert says Amber Heard could be sued because she admitted that she had edited a number of injury photos.
Moreover, other critics who had previously claimed that the actress would have zero to 1% chance of being prosecuted are now changing their minds, after seeing the way the case has turned out towards the end.
Experts, in addition, have mentioned how fabricated evidence is a serious crime and a serious offense when we consider the current justice system.
“I would be looking at this very seriously if I was a part of the jury. I hope the prosecutors are going to take a look at this very carefully because when you’re under oath, these things should be taking place”- mentioned defamation expert Aaron Minc.
“If there is very clear evidence that she is guilty of this, then it needs to be taken into account. It’s like crossing the line and it can’t happen”- she went on to mention.
The jurors will now resume their deliberations on Tuesday after the Memorial Day Holiday. And until then, the world waits for the verdict of a case that has entertained fans and followers around the globe.
