Amber Heard is all set to make her first-ever appearance on a live television interview, ever since her explosive trial with former husband Johnny Depp startled the world.
The interview is all set to be conducted on June 17 and right before that happens, the celeb’s spokesperson is now issuing a statement on the matter, on her behalf.
Heard will reportedly sit down for the first-ever full-length televised interview. This will be the first time she makes her way to people’s television screens since her high-profile and much-talked-about defamation trial with Johnny Depp shook the world.
On June 1st, we saw Johnny Depp come out victorious against Amber Heard. And that is in regards to the $50 million defamation case, where a jury deliberated for three days until they finally reached a verdict.
In the same way, we saw Amber Heard being given a partial win to the countersuit too.
We saw Depp sue Amber Heard for $50 million, implying he had abused her in the op-ed. But despite his claims, Amber Heard is believed to have never used his name. But Depp continued to mention how her article really impacted his ability to work in the Hollywood industry. And that’s when we saw Amber Heard push forward with a counterclaim worth $100 million.
Meanwhile, during a forthcoming interview alongside NBC’s Savannah Guthrie, we saw Amber Heard mention on June 9th how she does not wish to blame the jury for the final verdict of the case.
But she did go on about addressing the role and power of social media and she strongly feels it impacted many in making a decision.
“There was a barrage of social media attacks being carried out against her. I honestly do not care about what other people think about me. It doesn’t matter what judgments they hold about me either”- the actress continued.
