The police have released the mugshot of Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, nearly three weeks after his arrest.
On May 28, 82-year-old Paul Pelosi ran a stop sign and crashed his 2021 Porsche into a 2014 Jeep in Oakville, California.
According to the reports, both Pelosi and Jesus V. Lopez, the driver of the Jeep, survived the crash. Though their cars were written off following the accident, neither man was severely injured.
It has since also come to light that Pelosi’s blood alcohol content was 0.08% at the time he ran a stop sign and caused the traffic accident.
The 82-year-old was since arrested for DUI and is set to appear in court on August 3.
Meanwhile, the police have released a mugshot showing glass-eyed Pelosi in a collared shirt and a brown suit moments after the crash.
The mugshot comes after Napa County DA Allison Haley spoke out about the incident and suggested she has yet to decide whether to pursue charges against Pelosi or not.
“The case is currently under review to decide what, if any, charges will be filed against Mr. Pelosi,” she said last week.
“This is standard protocol for any DUI case that is referred by a law enforcement agency in Napa County.”
The DA continued: “No decision has been made at this time. Any speculation to the contrary is incorrect. When a filing decision is made by the Napa County District Attorney, the media and public will be notified.”
As Haley told Fox News, Pelosi will be arraigned during the August hearing if she decides to press charges.
