Fans around the world were shocked to learn about K-pop sensation BTS who was seen breaking down in tears as they announced a temporary hiatus so the members could focus on their solo careers.

While they do continue to promise fans that this is not the end, they hoped to return soon someday but never mentioned when.

The news came in the form of a one-hour clip that was released just one day after the group celebrated their nine-year anniversary yesterday.

While they continued to use the word temporary, many were not sure what that meant as the idea as they are all willing to pursue their solo careers. Moreover, in the video, the fans were on the verge of tears and they tried their hardest to try and console their fans.

The news was reportedly announced during their yearly FESTA dinner and that is where they were all seen sitting together at a long table that was filled with all sorts of food.

Several band members just could not hold back all of their emotions as they spoke about their decision to take time off and even tried to comfort one another during this time.

One of the popular group’s bandmembers named RM said he strongly believed the time had come for all of them to work on their own. Moreover, the group added how it was all being done for them to grow.

RM was also seen consoling fans and followers as he revealed how he always had this strong feeling that BTS was very different from other groups or boy bands. But the singer also mentioned that the biggest drawback related to the world of Kpop and the entire idol system is that you aren’t given any time to grow or even mature.

“You need to keep doing something to keep yourself busy and in our case, we need to keep producing music”- he concluded.
