Amber Heard is all set to appeal the ruling granted in the high-profile Johnny Depp defamation case verdict.
According to local media reports, the actress and her legal teams have mentioned during the past few weeks how an appeal was very possible and could be seen as an act on the cards. But this is the first time that we’re seeing work done in this regard as the legal teams have met in court during the early hours of Friday.
Judge Penney Azcarate is believed to have entered a judgment that echoed the verdict as it was handed down on June 1.
Legal teams belonging to both actors have reportedly met in court on Friday but it is yet to be determined if they managed to reach any possible settlement or not.
Hence, the Judge has now given both sides involved until Friday to make their settlement if they wish to do so.
Angenette Levy of Law and Crime has mentioned how the judge was in no mood of taking on nonsense as usual. Similarly, Johnny Depp’s legal team of experts did not request an injunction too, as we all were expecting.
A statement was recently sent out by The Independent where one spokesperson revealed for Miss Heard that as mentioned in the congressional hearings that took place yesterday, you never ask for any sort of pardon if you happen to be innocent. And you are not supposed to decline any appeal if you know that you are right.
