Just when you thought the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp fiasco was done and dusted comes more news about how the actress could be facing another legal trial.
Experts believe Amber Heard is just days away from another trial that would be filed in regards to perjury for a 2015 case that took place in Australia. And the news comes just weeks after she lost her intense battle against her former partner Johnny Depp.
For now, what we do know is that an ongoing investigation is taking place in regard to the criminal activity that occurred in Australia. It has been reported that in the year 2015, Heard was seen going to Queensland alongside her two dogs.
During that period, she was believed to have been married to Johnny Depp and hence was paying her husband a visit on the sets of the Pirates of the Caribbean. The actress took her pet Yorkshire Terriers named Pistol and Boo with her and failed to declare them to the customs officials that were present there.
For that reason, the actress was called out for breaking the strict laws related to quarantine and biosecurity in the country. In case you didn’t know, the Australian nation has a rather strict rule for pets entering its borders. This rule means a strict 10-day-long quarantine.
Therefore, the actress was immediately charged for the unlawful behavior and is now due to face a whole trial in court, as a result of this rude awakening.
Many felt that the case had been closed at that time after the celeb had confessed that it was a genuine mistake that she was not aware of. But now, the matter has again been reopened and by the looks of it, she’ll be undergoing another trial very soon.
