President Biden was recently heckled during an event that took place at the White House on Monday.
According to local media reports, the President was interrupted several times during his speech on the White House lawn by an advocate of gun control who also happened to be a father of a victim that died in the tragic Parkland shooting.
The father named Manuel Oliver had plenty on his mind and that’s why he couldn’t stop his emotions from running at an all-time high while the President spoke. On that note, the President was seen yelling and asking the father to take his seat so he could hear what he had to say first.
The father’s 17-year-old son named Joaquin had died in the terrifying mass shooting incident that took place in 2018 at a high school in Parkland, Florida.
“Sit down! You will hear what I have to say!”- a furious appearing Biden yelled as Oliver began to scream over the President’s voice while he was talking.
The event was stated to be held as a part of a bipartisan gun policy legislation that the US President reportedly signed in June.
“You really need to do more than this”- the dad continued to yell. In addition to that, the father started to give ideas to the President like how he needed to soon up an office at the White House. but little to no attention was paid to him in that regard by the President.
“I have been telling you to do the same for years and years”- Oliver continued and that’s when all of a sudden, there was a long and loud round of applause and it appeared that he was soon becoming a crowd’s favorite with his thoughts.
Again, Biden was being heckled and he was slowly seen losing his cool, so he told Oliver to be quiet again but that was followed by another comment, “let him talk. Let him talk!”
