McDonald’s has recently announced a new timing schedule for its younger customers and the decision isn’t being taken well by the majority.
As we all are aware, fast food chains are adored by both adults and children. But seeing your favorite hamburger joint no longer serve you after 5 pm can be a real bummer for foodies.
The popular American fast food franchise was seen announcing how its chain in Liverpool City Center would no longer be serving any customer below the age of 18 without an adult, after 5 pm.
In case a customer does show, they would be turned away, the company confirmed in its recent announcement to the public that has shocked many in the city.
The exact location of the branch that would be following these new rules was highlighted to be Church Street, right after a staggering number of incidents regarding anti-social behavior had been noticed by the staff in the area.
“We have been sadly experiencing a great number of cases where people misbehaved with staff members. Such shocking forms of verbal abuse would no longer be tolerated”- the chain revealed.
But further investigations revealed how it was not only verbal abuse but physical too and most of the younger members of the public were known to be involved.
While the decision to impose these new restrictions is temporary, it’s still causing an outcry in the public as many feel they’re being forced to pay for the devastating actions of so many others out there today.
Shockingly, the new rules have already come into effect and it’s just sad to see security guards turning away youngsters who very enthusiastically enter for a burger and fries but were left leaving with nothing but frowns.
