Chrissy Teigen has announced she is pregnant two years after the heartbreaking loss of baby Jack.
The 36-year-old model and TV personality shared the good news on Instagram where she excitedly told her followers that she and her husband, 43-year-old singer John Legend, are expecting a rainbow baby.
Their third child will join the ranks of Miles, 4, and Luna, 6, and comes after the couple lost their baby boy Jack in 2020.
“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way,” Teigen wrote as she shared a selfie in which she showed off her baby bump.
“Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.”
The catwalk model added: “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.”
Concluding her post, Chrissy admitted it was very hard keeping the happy, and scary, news to herself for what appears to be several months.
In her viral photos, the model showed off her curvy figure as she posed in a black crop top and black sheer Gucci underwear. She let her hair fall across her chest while holding a phone with one hand inside her walk-in closet.
The happy news comes months after the family was spotted riding camels in Egypt during a retreat to the African country.
At the time, Legend and Teigen posed for a photo in front of the pyramids while on top of two camels together with their children Luna and Miles.
