Prince Harry was pictured breaking into tears during his grandmother’s lying in state service.
On Wednesday, Queen Elizabeth II, who died last week, was honored with a touching lying in state service at Westminster Hall in London.
The service took place after the Queen was moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall in a touching procession attended by her four children and her grandchildren.
Among the mourners paying their respects to the late monarch were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who looked solemn throughout the procession and the lying in state service.
After the Queen’s coffin was brought inside the hall, Harry appeared to tear up and cover his eyes with his hand while bowing in respect.
Meanwhile, his wife, who donned the earrings the Queen once gave her, paid a tribute to the longest-reigning British monarch in history by performing a deep curtsy.
Honoring their grandmother’s memory, feuding brothers Prince Harry and Prince William set their differences aside as they stood together in formation in front of the Queen’s coffin.
As seen in the photos from the service, Harry and Meghan stood directly behind William and Kate during the poignant service.
In front of the fabulous four stood King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla along with Queen Elizabeth’s other children including Prince Edward, Prince Andrew, and Princess Anne.
After the short service by the Church of England, the family left the hall, and cries of “God save the king” erupted outside the building.
Meanwhile, thousands of people began queueing up to pay their respects to the Queen and walk by her coffin before she is laid to rest.
It is believed that some one million people will visit Westminster Hall to see the Queen’s coffin before her funeral on September 19.
