Just when you thought no other controversial news was trending on social media linked to the royal family, here comes a new story about Prince William.

According to sources from local media outlets, William and Kate were given designated titles as the Prince and Princess of Wales and they accepted it with great honor and celebrations. After all, it’s a huge deal, considering the fact that William is second in line to the throne.

But new reports have gone on to suggest how councilors in North Wales have reportedly called on an emergency meeting to discuss the Prince whom they deem to be oppressive.

This meeting will reportedly be about abolishing the right of Willam to use the honorary title. Moreover, there were some reports that also spoke about how the Welsh were refusing the royal family’s decisions after the Queen’s death.

The council is one that calls themselves the nationalist and has refused to listen to advice from others that would possibly change their minds or persuade them to give William the chance to be the Prince of Wales.

In the same way, the council mentioned in detail how William to them is very oppressive and archaic. Therefore, they wish to keep him off of Welsh soil. “He’s a true symbol of oppression from the English and we need to keep reminding others of that’- they added.

On the other hand, the council was seen voting in favor of the decision that any sort of endorsement or the rankings of William must be kept separate from Welsh soil.

This particular council is reportedly led by Plaid Cymru. And it’s located in Gwynedd which happens to be the north-western side of Wales, sources have revealed.

All such claims were reportedly stated at the meeting that occurred at the council chamber recently in Caernarfon. It’s shocking to note how this is the same town where Charles celebrated his investiture.
