A man has reportedly been fined a staggering $150 for pulling into the bus lane last month while trying to make way for an ambulance to pass.
According to reports from local media outlets, the man is raising his voice and concern over the issue because he feels that he did nothing wrong. In fact, he was considerate enough to let an emergency vehicle pass him that had a blue light. And that meant it was short on time and needed to rush for an emergency.
But seeing the way he’s being dealt with now has really made him realize one thing. There is very little room for goodness in this world.
“I was charged for helping out workers in the health department. How wrong and sickening is that mentality? People who aren’t even considerate get away with it. But look at me, I’m stuck with a huge fine and it’s the worst feeling in the world”- he went on to add.
Now, a man named James Vigor is sending out an appeal because he doesn’t wish to stay quiet on the matter. He feels that if he does not raise his voice now, it would really prove to be troublesome for him in the future.
The incident took place in the eastern part of London and now, he’s making sure the appeal goes well in his favor or else others like him would be penalized for no good reason.
The 27-year-old who works as a filmmaker in London adds he had only made a brief pull into the bus lane but the punishment he got for the ordeal really blew his mind.
“I was helping, why is it so hard for people to use their brains in today’s day and age”- he explained.
