Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s fallout with the royal family has never been easy on King Charles and that’s why he’s very keen and hopeful to work things out, confirmed a royal source.
The news comes thanks to Vanity Fair’s Katie Nicholl who is a notable Royal correspondent and an insider that’s also written an entire book on the future of the House of Windsor.
She has spoken about the current situation involving King Charles and how he is not happy with the things that have rolled out, ever since the couple decided to leave the UK and enter the US.
“Charles is devastated. He does not wish to leave things the way they are. Instead, he’s keener on making things work and if that includes lending an olive branch of reconciliation, then so be it”- she adds.
In the same way, the royal correspondent has shed light on how things were better than ever when Harry and Meghan got married but after that, it all just went downhill.
Speaking to Fox News recently for an exclusive interview, she feels the time has come for reconciliation and the new monarch is hopeful that things will go well.
“Charles is heartbroken over the sudden change in the relationship that has come about between the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle. He hopes and wishes that things could go back to normal again. He does not like living like this!”- she revealed during the interview.
As it is, Charles has extended a number of olive branches toward the couple and it’s been a great start so far. He hopes to continue with the behavior and if things work out, nothing would make him happier than that.
Charles has a lot of stress and responsibility on his shoulders. And alongside his attempts to better the country and prove himself, he knows he needs to deal with this situation too, she continued.
