Rapper Kanye West has his eyes set on the purchase of the ‘free speech platform’ Parler.
The news comes after the famous celeb was banned from Twitter for raising his voice on controversial subjects and behaving in a manner that the platform found to be against its policies.
But it was not only Twitter that barred the rapper but Instagram too in a recent episode of shock which West did not approve of as he felt he did nothing wrong.
The star was seen going on a binge of rants where he expressed a series of anti-semitic posts across both of these leading social media apps.
For those who may not be aware, this platform has been famous for many other leading celebs and known personalities that were kicked off of Twitter and Meta’s apps for not abiding by their rules. The most common example includes the likes of former US President Donald Trump.
The acquisition of Parler would provide West with full control of the application and a new outlet through which he can release his thoughts and ideas without the fear of being banned.
Many experts feel the move is a smart decision and would be a valuable asset for the rapper who has been in the line of fire recently after his behavior at Paris Fashion week drove the world insane, causing outrage and shock.
From the things he said to the way he behaved, West was certainly the talk of the town at the high-profile event.
The reason why this deal is being looked at as super controversial is that Kanye West has opted to go into business with the CEO husband of Candace Owens whom he shared the ‘white lives matter’ initiative at fashion week, causing a huge uproar in the world of celebrities.
