A mother who reportedly named her child Lucifer says she’s been bombarded with negative criticism and outrage over the incident.

This particular story comes forward from a mother named Josie King who is 27 and recently welcomed her baby boy into the world.

Naming a child can be a tricky affair for obvious reasons. Some prefer to have some sentimental value included in the name while others want the name to be a blend of the mother and father.

And if you ask us, well, there’s just a lot of things to think about. But one mother says she loved the name Lucifer because of her favorite meaning that’s attached to it.

As you can see, a lot of thought went behind that ordeal. But she loves the name and is shocked to see the types of criticism that is coming her way after the ordeal.

The mother adds that the child’s name has nothing to do with religion and is in fact far from it. She claims it has to do with the simple fact that it has a Latin origin and that means, ‘the bearer of light’.

The reason why she adores her child so much and is so particular about the name is that, for her, he’s nothing less than a miracle. He is beyond that.

According to her, he came into her world after the death of her ten children. And hence, this baby means everything. The couple has tried long and hard for this miracle and now he’s here in the form of cuteness overload.

So many people feel that his name will lead to him being bullied for the rest of his life. And that’s why they’re urging her to change it because he’s still so young.
