Kanye West is getting plenty of support from the former COO of the Yeezy brand who also happens to be Jewish.
The Israeli-born individual had plenty of praise and compassion for the celeb and asked others to show the same despite his recent controversial anti-semitic rants.
52-year-old Udi Avshalom was the COO of the rapper’s Yeezy brand during his tenure from 2017 to 2022. During this period, he took to his account on Instagram to call upon the public and have some compassion for Kanye West.
On Thursday, he addressed the matter as many found it very interesting that he despite being Jewish stood silent on the issue for so long. But coming out in support of the troubled musician just made so many really raise eyebrows on his stance.
Udi went on to add how Kanye West had trusted him for years and had full faith in him. He also spoke about how despite being Jewish, the duo made history together by collaborating on so many projects that helped the brand reach new heights of success over such a short period of time.
‘I really do love my guy and am so upset over all of this that has happened in such a short span of time. I don’t even know where to begin. He does not deserve to be treated in this manner. No one does!”- he went on to mention.
Udi Avshalom was born and raised in Israel and then he went on to immigrate with his parents to Brooklyn when he was just six years old.
But West’s comments against the Jews are not being taken lightly and that’s why he’s been set aside by leading global brands including Adidas who have not only condemned his actions but refused to hold any form of ties with him.
West has reportedly refused to apologize to the Jewish community despite the fact that he has caused immense controversy and really hurt the sentiments of so many people out there.
