One woman is shedding light on how having her first baby at the age of 50 through IVF was one of the toughest decisions of her life but the most cherished one of them all.

The single mom who made headlines for having her child at this age is really leaving people speechless across the board because that’s definitely a miracle on its own.

50-year-old Kelly Clarke says that it was the right time for her and while many people may judge her for making the wrong decisions, only she knows what was right and what needed to happen at that moment in time.

“I can bring my child up as I see fit and not have to disagree with anyone out there”- she revealed. So far, she is relishing the moment of holding her newborn which she once thought could never happen but somehow, it did.

Clarke reportedly flew all the way to Athens for the IVF treatment but it’s true that she really met with plenty of resistance along the way, and that too from her own loved ones.

As a single mom, she faced and continually faces a lot of backlash from people who just are not ready to accept the fact that she is willing to raise a child alone at this age.

But the mother says that some things are just meant to be and occur at the right place and the right time. Therefore, she is not willing to let anyone dim her sparkle.

“This is a miracle for me. And I am blessed to have such a beautiful baby. And I’m not going to let anyone reign on my parade”- she adds.

The mother of one says she is in a happy space at the moment and is just getting used to her little one who she feels is growing up way too fast.
