Elon Musk has acquired Twitter and he seems to have a lot of changes in store for the company’s employees including a firing spree that could see a dramatic fall in the number of workers currently enrolled in the firm.
According to reports from local media outlets, the billionaire is going to cut out at least 3,700 more employees whose fate will be determined in the form of an email that would be delivered early morning tomorrow.
Hence, 7500 people are at risk of being fired to called back to continue and they’ve got no clue what the decision may be.
The news comes as the world’s richest man was seen ordering managers to make a huge list of employees that would reportedly consider who is worth staying and who is not.
As you can imagine, in terms of such economic instability, the word is not being taken too well by the workforce who are now uniting to take a stand against Musk, who many see as the most brutal boss out there today.
They feel that it’s high time they filed a lawsuit against him and called him out for his actions because they were never informed and hence a shocking sacking event just is not a part of the firm’s policy or in the contract they’ve signed.
The news of Elon Musk triggering Twitter chaos with all of this hire and fire has really spread outrage across the board around the globe.
Seeing all departments get affected has really left people stunned and that includes the main operations that are reportedly involved in policing misinformation.
Tweets were seen flooding across the platform with hashtags of the like, ‘love where you work’ and ‘one team’. As it is, half of the corporation’s public policy team has been eliminated and many are fearing more changes like this soon.
