Shocking reports are going on to speak about the terrifying incident of a missile being fired on Poland’s soil that reportedly killed two people.
According to reports from local media outlets, the incident was considered to be really alarming for obvious reasons as speculations grew about it being fired by none other than Russia.
And the fact that Poland is a member of NATO since the early 1990s meant that other alliance partners would be intervening and holding those accountable for the behavior.
But now, new reports are claiming that as more and more investigations continue, it’s not Russia who is to blame. It’s actually Ukraine that is believed to have accidentally fired the missiles onto Polish territory.
Therefore, the Western allies say that all fears of a possible World War III taking place are now at rest and hence there is no escalation in tensions as of this moment.
But many are still skeptical that US President Biden was seen mentioning during a press briefing today that he does have intelligence reports that suggest the missiles were unlikely fired by Russia. However, he chose to remain rather hush on the matter and hoped that the final confirmation could only be made when the investigation was done with.
Today, Poland’s prime minister was seen speaking about how he had no evidence that the missile that was fired on its territory belonged to Russia. Hence, he asked the media to relax and stop putting out false and misleading stories without taking into account the situation.
Meanwhile, NATO’s head has recently released a statement that spoke about how it was indeed Russia’s fault, to begin with, and no blame should be put on Ukraine if it had made such a mistake as it was only trying to defend its land against the barbaric actions of Putin.
