The legendary player in the world of soccer, Pele was reportedly hospitalized after his medical condition worsened yesterday.
According to local media outlets, the 82-year-old was rushed to a nearby medical facility and he suffered from swelling all over.
This was also due to a series of heart failure issues that took center stage as doctors claim his chemotherapy for cancer is no longer working. Moreover, other reports even spoke about him struggling to eat with his wife by his side as tests get conducted in Sao Paulo.
The legendary sportsman who hails from Brazil was seen being rushed to a nearby medical facility in Brazil today, leaving fans and loved ones worried about his current medical state. But now, doctors confirm his condition has improved and he’s stable.
For now, he is being treated at the Albert Einstein hospital but no time frame has been provided in regards to how low he could be forced to stay as doctors are worried and keeping him under observation.
The ex-Brazilian player was undergoing treatment for his metastatic cancer but it now appears to have taken a turn for the worse on Tuesday after his unscheduled visit surprised all members of the medical staff at the hospital.
For now, he is being taken care of by his wife who is yet to leave his bedside ever since he arrived in that condition.
Reports from ESPN have gone on to describe his condition as debilitated. Others called the condition to be one of generalized swelling and are mentioned as anasarca and decompensated heart failure since the organs are not able to function properly, leaving to swelling.
Other reports claim his chemotherapy is not working and now, he’s believed to be suffering from intense medical confusion too. Since then, he has been restless.
Calls for prayers for his speedy recovery and well-being are pouring in at the moment as he may be out of danger but his loved ones claim prayers are still needed.
