What were you doing when you were 14?
I don’t know about you, but when I was 14, doing a complete makeover of a camper was the last thing on my mind.
Meet, Ellie, a 14-year-old who actually managed to accomplish this task.
Over the summer, a 14-year-old Ellie bought a camper with her own money, and spent countless hours on it to turn it into an adorable “glamper”.

When Ellie first purchased this 1974 model camper, its conditions were less than ideal.
Inside, the floors and wood paneling looked bland and out-of-style.
Not only that, the amenities inside needed some repairing work.
But then again, the camper itself was only 200 dollars – so such conditions were expected.
With the help from family, though, Ellie was able to completely transform the camper.
Her grandfather taught him some carpentry skills along the way, so she was able to do things like plugging the holes and retiling the floor.

When she finally finished doing the repair work, she started to put in some personal touches.
She painted the exterior in light blue called “mystic sea.”
Then, she replaced the floors with new tiles, and painted the interior in baby pink.
For the decorations, Ellie put elements like an old electric fan and a vintage film camera. Her grandmother also helped out by creating curtains and napkins for the camper.

Oh, and did I mention that this little camper has electricity and wi-fi?
Honestly, what Ellie did with this 1974 camper is just incredible. The final product is something that any teenager would want to have – an ideal place to read, to host the ultimate sleepovers, and more. I think it’s safe to say that Ellie gave the camper a whole new life!
