The police are on the hunt for two teenagers, a boy and a girl, who allegedly assaulted a 56-year-old teacher and pushed her in front of a bus after she confronted them for spitting at her niece.
As Geraldine Lynne revealed, she encountered the pair of teens on Oxford Street in London when she was walking around with her niece.
The problems began when the young thugs started stepping on Lynne’s 25-year-old niece’s heels. After telling them to stop, the yobs got upset and spat on the 25-year-old.
“A few moments later, I heard them say, ‘Three, two, one’ and with that he spat at my niece,” Lynne recalled in an interview with The Standard.
Following the spit, the 56-year-old teacher walked towards the boy who pushed her right onto the busy road as a bus was approaching.
“I’m horrified to consider what might’ve happened if a 12-and-a-half ton bus had run over me,” Lynne added.
“It’s never happened to me before… it was frightening to think one small incident can escalate into being pushed in front of a bus.”
After the assault and what the public believes to be attempted murder, the teens ran off before the shocked teacher and her niece could call the police.
Later on, the police released a picture of the abusive teens that Ms. Lynne has taken prior to the assault. In the photo, the teen boy is seen wearing a silver earring, a grey satchel, and an oversized navy blue top.
The suspect, who the police is looking for, has wavy hair of medium length and light-brown color.
