A new and shocking video is taking center stage at the moment and it wouldn’t be wrong to deem it cringe-worthy.

The video features a star striker in the world of soccer and Argentina’s captain, Lionel Messi doing his best to avoid the famed chef from Turkey, Salt Bae.

The very awkward moment was caught on camera and many couldn’t but wonder why a chef was allowed on the pitch in the first place after Argentina was awarded the trophy for last night’s thrilling final.

Salt Bae made his way into the pitch and started to touch the trophy and exchange some words with the legendary player. But the way Messi was ignoring him was definitely a shocker for obvious reasons.

The game from last night was nothing less than a nail-biting experience for soccer fans from all over the globe. People were on the edge of their seats as they witnessed both France and Argentina battle it out to be soccer champions of this year’s FIFA world cup in Qatar.

And in the end, the game went into the likes of a penalty shootout and that’s where Argentina reigned supreme and beat out all others.

Online viewers on social media didn’t hold back from the famous Turkish chef and the organizers of the event.

They slammed him for meddling on the pitch, getting into Lionel Messi’s way, and then going about doing some embarrassing acts that included the likes of chewing on his medal and touching the trophy unnecessarily. Others felt he really needed to go back to where he belonged and that’s the kitchen.

He similarly forced Messi to shake his hand and then even forced him to take pictures which the striker seemed awfully hesitant to do.
