Ukraine’s President Zelensky is all set to pay a visit to the White House and Capitol Hill.

The news comes as a shock to many as it’s the leader’s first-ever American tour since the Russian invasion began.

The President just touched down in the state capital of the US. Many called the visit a very swift one as it was announced today in the morning and now, he’s in Washington to meet with the country’s head of state, Joe Biden.

The bold and tough Ukrainian President was given a warm welcome. An entire red carpet was laid to honor him and the delegation.

He was similarly presented with a wonderful honor that came in the form of a military medal for his excellent performance in fighting back against a nation as powerful as Russia.

And it’s very interesting to note how he never urged his country or fellow servicemen to quit. He hoped they would be supporting his role.

Biden welcome him with open arms and said he was just so delighted that he could make his way forward into this trip.

Zelensky thanked the entire world for their support during this difficult time and that includes the US whom it considers a huge friend and all, without a second thought.

The US vowed to stand by the side of the Ukrainian nation during this distressing time and provide it with all sorts of money and machinery it needed to defeat the Russian forces.

Seeing the Democratic president add the latest weaponry to the list for Ukraine to take has made a lot of Republicans upset, sources claim.

They claim more and more additional support to countries like Ukraine could create problems for other nations who are watching very closely.
