Rumors have started to circulate that Cher, 76, has gotten engaged to 36-year-old Alexander Edwards after the legendary singer shared a photo of the enormous diamond ring he bought her for the holidays.

Fans went wild as she took to Twitter on Christmas morning and shared a picture of the glittering diamond ring.

“THERE R NO WORDS, ALEXANDER,A.E.,” she wrote.

Nestled in a black velvet box, the diamond ring featured a teardrop center diamond that was surrounded by smaller diamonds.

Her younger beau can be seen holding the box with two fingers.

Cher’s followers started to speculate that the two have gotten engaged, with one person commenting: “So happy for you!! My mom also got engaged today. You are one of her idols! So it’s extra good luck.”

Another wrote: “OMG did he propose to you!!!?? Mama lovely.”

A third said: “Going to the chapel and she’s gonna get married.”

Someone else said: “Mrs. Edwards?!”

Cher shared the same photo an hour later and explained: “I posted this cause his nails are so cool.”

This comes after sources told RadarOnline that the Believe singer was smitten with the music executive.

“Cher is head over heels in love,” the insider said.

“She knows she doesn’t have much time left anymore to find ‘the one’ and after two failed marriages and countless disastrous boyfriends, this could be her LAST chance and she isn’t going to let it pass her by.”

The source added: “Of course, her friends are worried. Whenever there is a 40-year-old and $400 million gap between two people, you have concerns!”

Cher confirmed her relationship with Alexander last month and has since admitted that their huge age gap is ‘strange on paper.’

But she told her fans that ‘love doesn’t know math.’

“We’re happy, we’re grown ups,” she said.

“On paper This Looks strange (Even 2 ME) A.E Says [love heart emoji] Doesn’t Know Math.”
