Jane Fonda, 85, Sally Field, 76, Lily Tomlin, 83, and Rita Moreno, 91, looked dazzling in their group photo for the ’80 For Brady’ movie premiere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in California.
The legendary actress wore black, except for Moreno who sported a red shawl and a leopard print skirt.
80 For Brady is a comedy movie focused on four friends who go on a trip to see Tom Brady.
At the premiere, the actresses spoke about the film, with Fonda saying that Meeting Brady in real life made her ‘weak’ at the knees.
“He was kind and humble, which is hard to believe considering how brilliant he is at what he does, but it’s true. He was also sweet and polite,” Fonda said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“My knees actually got weak when he walked into my trailer. I’m in awe of that kind of skill. When somebody is the best in the world at what they do, you have to honor that and respect it. I was just awestruck.”
This comes after Fonda recently announced that she was in remission after battling cancer and receiving treatment for six months.
In an Instagram post, the actress wrote: “Last week I was told by my oncologist that my cancer is in remission and I can discontinue chemo. I am feeling so blessed, so fortunate. I thank all of you who prayed and sent good thoughts my way.”
Fonda continued: “I am confident that it played a role in the good news. I’m especially happy because while my first 4 chemo treatments were rather easy for me, only a few days of being tired, the last chemo session was rough and lasted 2 weeks making it hard to accomplish much of anything.”
