43-year-old top singer and songwriter Pink says she is making sure her daughter stays protected from the evils of social media.

And she plans on doing that by preventing her from buying a cellphone. But she did admit that her daughter can get one if and only if she can prove that the world of social media can bring about positivity.

The starlet really did shock fans and followers when she laid down some strict rules that aren’t usually seen in today’s time.

But Pink is not afraid to reveal that she is very stringent in this regard because according to her, it’s quite obvious that there is more harm linked to social media than any good. And she plans on saving her daughter Willow for as long as she can.

“If you can produce literature from a good and reliable source that social media is good for you, then it’s all yours. So, good luck with that!”- the celeb explained.

Pink and her husband Carey Hart claim they’re quite lenient in some aspects when it comes down to raising their children but in others, they’re not as soft. And the subject of social media and tech happens to be one of them.

The debate began when the celeb mentioned during her recent interview how her child does not have a cell phone because she is not allowed to carry one.

She also mentioned how her 11-year-old was too young but it’s amazing how all of her other classmates had a phone, except for her.

The singer added how so many young kids have phones these days and are even on TikTok. She finds that to be a personal matter on the part of the parents but she does not agree with it and would never allow her kids to fall into the trends or pressure of those around them.
