Celebrated actress Racquel Welch’s cause of death has finally been revealed.

Sources from local media outlets revealed how the 82-year-old had been battling Alzheimer’s disease for a while now. But the cause of death mentioned on her death certificate stated another reason.

The actress reportedly suffered from cardiac arrest following a brief period of illness. And this coupled with Azheimer’s led to a devastating combination of events.

Now, the legendary star from Hollywood and the country’s s*x symbol is being recalled with heartfelt tributes from loved ones, colleagues in the industry, and a huge group of fans and followers who just found it hard to accept the shocking news.

Welch passed away at her residence in Los Angeles. The news was first confirmed by her business manager who described the cause as a brief illness. But today, the press got a hold of her death certificate which spoke about her suffering from a cardiac arrest.

This had not been disclosed during the time of her death as the family requested privacy as they dealt with the difficult mourning period.

But for years, the star found it hard to live with Alzheimer’s disease. This is the name given to a degenerative disease for which there is actually no cure.

It’s a disorder of the brain that tends to work its way toward the slow destruction of the brain’s normal activity. And hence, the body is unable to even carry the most basic functions out there.
