There are some couples who have a hard time conceiving a newborn due to not so specified reasons.
You must have heard stories about a mother giving her first birth after ten years of marriage.
The hope of having a baby is common for every couple, but at times things don’t work out the way you want them to.
Jessica Egan is one of those mothers who had been trying to conceive a baby for a long time and was finally pregnant after trying for many years. However, she was left disheartened when she was made aware that the baby of hers has been tested positive for Down Syndrome.
Egan began to fear that her baby won’t be accepted by society. She would shy away from her friends who all are expecting twins.
She expressed that she had been feeling down since the moment she heard about her soon to be born daughter’s diagnosis. Next three days, Egan spent crying at her home thinking that her baby wouldn’t be celebrated and welcomed the way she deserves to.
But after making contact with a Utah based foundation for Down Syndrome, she has been feeling better. Egan’s attitude towards her daughter’s extra chromosome saw a drastic change.
The daughter of Egan, Gwendolyn has turned two months old now. She decided to share her story and wanted to tell people what she had learned by whatever she has witnessed in the last few months.
She wrote the post which has now gone viral on social media in a satirical manner. The post said that she ordered the same amount of chromosomes as everybody else does, but she was gifted with two free chromosomes as well.
Egan further in her post said that she got her delivery two months back and an extra pair of chromosomes are totally worth it, and everybody should order the same.
Along with the text, she also uploaded the photos of the two-month-old baby girl of hers.
Egan’s post has so far received over 330,000 likes, and people can’t stop commenting to express their love for Gwendolyn.
The mother said that she is delighted by the acceptance her daughter has received by all the people.
