Jack Nicholson was spotted relaxing on the balcony of his Mulholland Drive compound in Beverly Hills.

The 85-year-old reclusive actor was last seen back in October 2021 when he watched the LA Lakers in action along with his son Ray.

Now, The Shining star was spotted enjoying the morning breeze from his home’s balcony as he listened to the birds chirping and gazed into the sky when a helicopter passed by.

For the morning outing, the three-time Oscar winner donned a loose orange shirt and plain dark sweatpants.

“He’s made it clear his home is his castle. But people just wish he’d come out of the house and pop up to tell them how — or at least reassure folks he’s OK,” a source close to Nicholson told Radar Online earlier this year.

The insider also revealed that Jack remains close with his son and protégé Ray even though his socializing days are over.

“Jack’s in touch with certain relatives — especially Ray, his protégé, who he’s so proud of — but his socializing days are long gone,” they added.

The unnamed friend further claimed that Jack remains in good physical condition but is struggling mentally.

While the source of his alleged struggles remains unclear, Jack has allegedly sparked concerns in his “close-knit” community of Mulholland Drive.

“The Mulholland Drive community is pretty close-knit, and they are all worried about him. Physically he is fine — but his mind is gone. It’s really sad to see such a super talented actor, like Jack, go out this way,” the insider concluded.
