You may have come across plenty of stories celebrating the love of pets but this one is in a league of its own.
A dog owner has vowed to do whatever it takes to save his little pup and if that means selling his home to pay for the sick dog, then so be it.
Jaxon Feelay says his two-year-old dog went into a state of hypovolemic shock. She contracted gastritis and then pneumonia. And before the owner knew it, the bill went up to nearly $20,000.
But Jaxon says he is in a desperate bid to keep the pet alive because it’s not a dog, it’s his family and he means everything in the world to him.
The dog named Rambo reportedly went into a massive state of shock after she continued to vomit all night long. The owner became so worried because he says that it was about 30 times that it took place.
And now, he is working hard in making sure she regains back her strength and stamina so she can be back to her two feet again.
Hospital emergency visits are never cheap. They are super expensive and you never know what the list of additional costs would be, including separate visits for the vet and the long list of medicines too.
Since insurance does not cover these for the pet owner, he has opted to give up the home that he’s living in because paying rent and this at the same time is just not possible.
“She’s like my baby. She fell ill and was forced to stay in the ICU. It cannot get any worse than that!”- he adds while vowing to do whatever it takes to ensure she’s all well again.
