Bubbles is an African elephant weighing 9000 pound, who is best friends with Bella, a black Labrador.
They are almost like each other’s family, and they live at the Myrtle Beach Safari in South Carolina.
They play and live together for most of their time. In the photos and videos, these two friends can be seen going for a swim or a walk together. They even play with the ball in the water. Bubbles throw off the ball into the water, and Bella quickly jumps off from the back of Bubbles and swims across to get the ball.

Bubbles were brought in by the safari in 1983 and Bella was adopted by that Safari park in 2007. It seems that it was faith that brought together these two animals who later became best friends. According to sources, Bubbles was brought in from Africa after both of her parents got killed by the poachers.
Bubbles’ parents were killed in 1981 by the ivory poachers. She was among the lucky few who survived that merciless slaughter. Even today hundreds and thousands of elephants are illegally poached for harnessing their ivory. Bubbles grew as time passed and she went from being 300 to 9000 pounds. Her love for swimming seemingly grew in tandem with her.
A contractor was hired to build up a swimming pool for Bubbles in 2007, and he had abandoned Bella at the Reserve while she was still a puppy. The pool and then the river gave these two animals the amazing opportunity to interact and what developed between them was a lasting and deep friendship.
Today, Bubbles and Bella have become inseparable. They are really quite fond of each other. They always play with each other and have a wonderful time in doing that.
