After reading his father’s message, he showed it to his mom. His mom and the rest of the family were in tears. Had he not taken the bench apart, no one would have been able to discover this beautiful message.

To preserve this message from his father, Mason’s son removed the two planks from the center and mounted them in a frame. He also decided to share this amazing story on Imgur, which inspired others to share their own stories in the face of loss.

Even though Mason passed away too soon without a warning, his wife will always know how much he loved and appreciated her. I hope this story also inspires you to let your loved ones know how you feel.
