Dog owners would know to what extent their dogs would go when they come to find things during a walk.
Sometimes it can be a squirrel for them to chase, and the other times a cloth to tear it apart.
But nothing can surpass the thing uncovered by basset hound in Northumberland woods on Monday afternoon.
Sara Middleton took three-year-old Flossie along with her four other basset hounds on Monday afternoon. Soon after she left them for a walk in the woods, Flossie came back holding an eight-inch toy in her mouth.
Sara wasn’t able to recognize the strange looking toy that Flossie was refusing to give up. To her surprise, it was a dildo. Flossie kept on chewing on the plastic toy for about two miles.
From tempting Flossie with biscuits to chasing her in the park, Sara’s attempt to take the embarrassing toy out of her dog’s mouth was constantly failing. Flossie was happy to find a new little companion to play with.
Highlighting the awkward incident, the 40-year-old dog owner said that why would somebody leave it in the woods and why would they bring it to the woods in the first place.
Flossie kept refusing to leave the toy, and with time she was growing protective for her new toy. Sara was chasing her and eventually started scolding for not letting it go. But nothing was quite working as Flossie was all excited with her new toy.
After many failed attempts, Flossie let go of the dildo. Whether she dropped it accidentally or knowingly, Sara was glad that she finally left it.
Before getting into the car, Sara threw the toy far in the woods as she didn’t want Flossie to find it and starts chewing it on again.
