One of the most shocking aspects of her testimony was that she was forced to get nine tattoos that bore the name of her ex.

In an act that must have required great bravery and courage within her, Frost has shared the intolerable abuse that she had to endure in her 6 year long relationship with Aaron James Wharton, who is one year her junior.

She said that Wharton seemed laser focused on controlling every single aspect of her life. For instance, she would have to report to him where she was when she was outside the house to the most minute detail such as what she is wearing.

Needless to say, there were days when this freakishly controlling attitude quickly turned into physical violence. Frost recalled one of the particularly brutal attacks that took place last year. While intoxicated, Wharton choked and physically assaulted Frost for three long hours.

It was this attitude that made Wharton force his girlfriend to get tattoos with his name on Frost. Frost said her boyfriend considered her a personal property. Much like setting up fences around one’s private grounds, Wharton hoped that the tattoos will deter other men.

This is by no stretch a hyperbole, as the words “Property of AJ Wharton” were literally inscribed down Frost’s back. Frighteningly, Frost relayed how the relationship began out so perfectly. She remembered how she was treated like a princess during the first year.

However, she now looks back to those days to see the precursors to the control freak that Wharton eventually revealed himself to be. Frost said her ex forced her to connect all personal ties except the relationship with him, including old ties with her family and friends.

For the aforementioned physical assault in 2019 and forcing physical damage, Wharton has been sentenced to 21 months in jail. Moreover, the court issued a decade long restraining order that banned him from approaching Frost.
