A trainee accountant made plenty of people’s heads turn after she reportedly won a lawsuit worth £13,000 for being fired as she left in an emergency to pick up her sick child.

The accountant was identified as Catherine Henderson who says that she received an emergency message from her young child’s school about how the student was not feeling well. She was reportedly asked to come and get her child by the nearest time as she was ill and needed to be taken home immediately.

On that note, the mother did not think twice. Without any hesitation, she got up and decided to leave, without worrying about the consequences of those actions at work.
