After watching his own sister battling with Leukemia, in 2009, a source told that he has been funding for the research and treatment of children fighting with cancer.

He has a private foundation that has been running for five years and helped in aiding many children with cancer. According to him, he doesn’t want to attach his name to this foundation and get the praise.

Reeves, according to Daily Mail, has given $100 million to the special effect and costume teams working on The Matrix series. Not only this but Reeves had been seen multiple times giving free rides to people having any car troubles and spending money on those having any financial crisis.

Most people in the headlines today are all greedy for viewership. They have got means to give but not a big heart to spent.
