I don’t really enjoy pranks, because while it may be fun for the planners, it may not be as fun for those who are being pranked on.
But what happened on this little stage is hands-down one of my favorite pranks ever – it’s about what happens when your favorite singers appear right before your eyes and performs for you!
As you can see in the video below, Adele decides to prank her impersonators at the audition by becoming one of them. With the help of Graham Norton, Adele disguises herself by getting a new nose, and doing a bit of a make-up.
Behind the stage, Adele, or her new persona as “Jenny,” pretends to be nervous throughout the whole audition.
She also chats with the group, and it’s obvious that she’s touched by what the impersonators had to say about Adele.
“Can’t wait for the new album,” said one of the auditionees.
And Adele perfectly plays her part, pretending to be worried about the audition and saying that she’s not feeling great.

One by one, eight impersonators come up on stage and sings their heart out to be chosen, thinking about their loved singer.
Then, it was finally Adele’s turn to audition. First, she messes up on purpose by having a false start on the song.
However, within a few seconds, everyone’s jaw drops when she starts singing her track, “Make You Feel my Love.”
At first, they’re just amazed by how she’s so great at singing, but then people begin to realize that something just doesn’t seem right. She wasn’t an amateur.
It was Adele.
Their shocked faces show that none of them had any idea that the real Adele would appear on stage in front of them.

They just can’t believe their favorite singer is performing right before their eyes, and some of them even start to cry.

I think the best part is about 3:39, when one of the impersonators immediately realizes that it’s her.
