Adele has lost over 40 pounds of extra weight after cutting down on carbs and starting Pilates classes back in June together with her pal.
The 31-year-old singer appeared completely transformed as she took to Drake’s birthday bash to show off her slim figure.
“I used to cry but now I sweat,” the celebrity wrote on Instagram after her successful weight loss journey. According to the Mirror, the singer has lost as much as 42 pounds as of this writing.
Crediting her reformed lifestyle for her weight loss, the ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer allegedly expressed her new workout regime and sugar-free decisions bore results as intended.
“Adele has been out enjoying herself and she sees that as her priority at the moment, along with being a mum to Angelo,” a source close to Adele revealed in an interview with The Sun.
“She has been loving her new workout regime and it really works for her. It’s a bonus that she has shifted some weight. Her mates are glad she’s letting loose and there’s nothing but good feelings towards her. She’s got a new lease of life.”
In addition, reports suggest that Adele has picked up interest in the Sirtfood diet, a particular eating regime that promotes consuming foods and ingredients such as turmeric and green tea which are rich in sirtuin activators.
“The Sirtfood Diet is all about losing weight and feeling fantastic through eating great-tasting food. It’s based on extensive research into the power of key plant foods, which when added to our diet turn on fat burning and improve wellbeing,” a source entrusted to Daily Mail.
The revelation follows days after the Hello hitmaker shocked her fans with her stunning, slim figure as she donned a sleek black dress and appeared at Drake’s birthday party.
The 31-year-old divorced singer appeared to be blooming as she took to Goya studios in Hollywood to celebrate Drake’s 33rd birthday along with his other A-list buddies including Chris Brown, Diddy, and Future.
