God works in mysterious ways! The bible says he knew us even before we were born and he knows the number of hairs on our heads.
It’s human nature that we often times doubt the word of God, thinking that He’s forgotten us or He simply does not care enough.
Here is a story of a couple that has seen the hand of God work miracles in their marriage and lives.
Walt Manis grew up on a farm in Arkansas. As a child, he used to always talk to God while he explored nature. One day God gave Walt a glimpse of what his future would be like. Walt had an unusual vision, it was a vision from none other than The Lord Almighty – Yes- a vision from God!

In the vision, Walt saw that he was to have a daughter when he grew up and her name would be ‘Chloe.’ It was such a beautiful and heavenly vision that he never ever forgot it. Time elapsed so fast, Walt grew up into a responsible adult. Luckily, he met the love of his life, Annie and they got married.
He had known Annie from way back since he was a little boy. Annie shared her dreams with her husband Walt of being a mother, she wanted this so bad more than anything else. Surprisingly, she also told him that if by chance God blessed them with a daughter, she would name her Chloe. What a coincidence!
Seeing that his wife wanted to name their daughter Chloe, he was prompted to share his childhood vision with her. Unfortunately, the couple failed to conceive for a very long time. They tried for a couple of years but all in vain, despite the fact that they longed to have their own children. Failure to have their own kids put a strain on both in their relationship as a married couple and their relationship with God.
The fear of never having their biological children consumed them. Life was meaningless to them without their own children. After special consideration, the couple decided to go with the next best option – Adoption. Initially, this was mainly Annie’s idea, Walt was not fully in support of the idea.
Fortunately, a pregnant woman wanted to give her baby up for adoption due to unknown reasons. She chose Walt and Annie for to be the new parents to her little baby. She trusted them to love and take care of her child.
Finally, a new door was opened for Manis. They were extremely happy, delighted and overwhelmed with joy. Despite the fact that God had blessed them with a beautiful baby girl, they were a little disappointed that it was not their biological child. The mother of the baby was hell bent on meeting the lovely couple in person before she could sign adoption papers.

She desperately wanted to know that she was handing over her baby to a loving and caring family. Walt and Annie did not hesitate, they quickly drove to her.
As soon as Walt and Annie met the mother of the baby, Walts doubts about adoption disappeared. But why? Walt’s doubts disappeared because the mother of their baby to resemble the child who appeared in his vision from God when he was young. Guess what? The pregnant lady also wanted to name her baby Chloe – the exact name as the one Walt and Annie had picked out for their first born daughter.
After a couple of months, baby Chloe was born. She was a beautiful baby girl. What was more amazing about her birth was that she looked exactly like the baby Walt had seen in his vision from God. Chloe’s arrival in their lives strengthened the couple’s faith in God. They came to believe that he is always able and has the best timing for everything and everyone.
Fortunately, the Manis’ were blessed with another bundle of joy. A new little baby girl has added to their family through adoption again. According to the profile on Choose joy,’ they named her Naomi- what a beautiful name?
Moving Works, a media ministry for which the couple works, posted Walt and Annie’s inspiring story on YouTube. Their story has gone viral. with more than 200,000 views and seeing thousands of comments, it is touching people around the globe.
