Jubilee the dog is a 4-year-old husky who’s been staying at a New Jersey rescue shelter after her owner kicked her out because she couldn’t bring them profit due to her unique looks.
While her eyes are definitely closer to each other than what you typically see in huskies, Jubilee is a kind and gorgeous girl who captured the hearts of people on the internet.
“My name is Jubilee. I’m a 4 year old female husky who has been with Husky House for a long time. I came from a ‘breeder’ who couldn’t sell me because he said I was ‘weird’ looking,” the Husky House shelter wrote in their Facebook post in the name of Jubilee.
“Huskies are majestic looking dogs and I don’t know why I don’t look like them. I wish I was beautiful so someone would want me to be their dog. I like other dogs, but I don’t like cats. I love people, but I’m a little shy because people mostly laugh at the way I look.
“Doesn’t anyone want a funny looking husky? I wish I had a family of my own who could love me even though I’m not pretty.”
The shelter has also encouraged people to file applications if they wished to adopt the pooch. While plenty of people expressed their interest in Jubilee, the dog was still without an owner according to the update from January 16.
As Husky House revealed, Jubilee had been staying with them for over one and a half year. They also claimed the 4-year-old husky is good with other dogs and people but a little bit shy at first.
