We live in a world where making money is more important than saving lives and the whole planet.
Amazon is on fire and the forest that is the largest forest on the planet and is the provider of 20% of the oxygen the entire world uses. But it looks like the matter is not important enough. So what if we get less oxygen to live? The rich will buy their oxygen and the poor will die.
The fallout has begun and social media users have got into deep thinking how the world leaders on both authority and money are not ready to give enough money to save the forest.
The social media users say that the G7 government together gave $20 million to save Amazon. The amount sounds like a lot of money right?
Well, Netflix paid $100 million to keep F.R.I.E.N.D.S on the telecast for just one year. Now this is called a massive amount of money right?
One critic commented “We live in a world you all would pay $100 million for entertainment as to watch Friends but the top 7 most powerful governments on the planet just came up with $20 million to save Amazon, certainly one of the most precious things on the planet in the time of crisis.
Another commented, “It is a matter of shame for the multimillionaire companies and the government of several countries who prefer business and making money over saving the forest which technically means saving the world.”
When people dug deep which was technically not a difficult task they found out loads and loads of money spent on useless things but the government that combined has a GDP of more than $40 trillion has only given $20 million to save what is considered to be the lungs of the Earth.
What a mockery on the health of the planet it is.
