An Air Force Veteran’s reunion with his missing dog will leave you in tears.
Larry Peteet from Land O’ Lakes, Florida, who was a former military member, has a heart condition which caused him to black out while driving.
He was left hospitalized after the car crash. His service dog, Sandy Girl, who was in the car at the time, was delivered to a neighbor’s house after the car crash.
Thankfully, Peteet, who spent three days in the hospital, recovered. When he got out of the hospital, he found out his beloved dog went missing as his neighbour left Sandy at a dog park.
“When it first happened, it was all I could do to not freak out and lose my mind. She’s my baby girl, the love of my life.”
“I love her more than anything. So, it’s horrible.”
“Sandy is my emotional support. She’s the only reason when I get down that I care about anything.”
The veteran hired Jamie Katz, a Pet Detective who helps to recover missing animals.
Soon, Katz got a call from a man who had Sandy with him. The veteran and his beloved dog finally reunited.
“I’ve been crying all morning,” the veteran said after he was reunited with his beloved dog.
Their reunion video was posted on Instagram by detective Jamie Katz, who wrote: ‘Look Who’s Home.
