Saying goodbye to your loved ones at the airport is always difficult, even though you know that you’d be seeing each other later.
For me, saying goodbye to my family and leaving for college was a hard and a bit scary, since I was going to be entirely by myself for the first time.
A 12-year-old boy named Sean McGrath also had to say goodbye to his grandparents, as they were going away for a trip to Spain.

At the final moment, however, he broke down in tears not because they were leaving, but because something amazing happened.
As you can see in the video, Sean’s parents are capturing the moment when his grandparents are getting dropped off at the airport for the trip.
When Sean says goodbye, his grandmother asks him to check for her mobile boarding pass to see if they are right.
“Will you check the boarding passes for me there, Sean? Just to make sure I have it all right?”
She then hands over her phone, and Sean opens the app and swipes across the screen to check.

He first finds his grandmother’s boarding pass, then opens the next page to find his grandfather’s boarding pass.
But then, he noticed that there was another one.
And it had his name on it.
Since this was totally unexpected, Sean breaks down in tears. He had no idea that he’d be going to Spain with his grandparents!
